Stephen Capus, the president of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, called for the release of journalist and economist Farid Mehralizade.

“Today (October 30) marks five months since the unjust imprisonment of RFE/RL journalist and economist Farid Mehralizadeh. We are deeply concerned about his imprisonment on false charges. We call for his immediate release so that he can return home to his wife and newborn daughter.”
